Live from The Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas , in a fight I expect to be one of the most exciting fights of the year. Free on Spike Clay "The Carpenter" Guida welcomes the last WEC Lightweight Champion Anthony "Showtime" Pettis to the UFC. Coming off the biggest win of his career when he defeated Ben Henderson at the last ever WEC event back in December. The fight went to the judges score cards but Pettis left no questions in the cage that night, in the dieing seconds he leaped off the cage like a ninja with his right foot and kicked Henderson right in the jaw sending him to the mat, it was something you where more likely to see in a movie which announcer Stephan Bonner called it a Matrix kick.

Expectation for Pettis are at an all time high as he gets set to take on a man with no off switch; he's been called a human energizer bunny, winner of three Fight of the Night honours including fight of the year with Diego Sanchez. Riding a three fight winning streak Guida is going to be tough to defeat for any man. But my Prediction for this Lightweight bout is Anthony Pettis defeats Clay Guida via split decision and this bout wins Fight of the Night Honours Fourteen welterweights battled it out and only two remain.

Getting to the finale by knocking out all three of his opponents in the process, from team Lesner is Tony Ferguson who actually comes from a wrestling back round, but didn't show it during The Ultimate Fighter. I guess with the brutal leg kicks and powerful stand up like his why would he? He did get taking down by Justin Edwards in there preliminary bout, and out of nowhere Ferguson hit Edwards with an amazing up kick that ended the fight in the second round, following that up with a 46 second TKO of Ryan McGillivray and then a brutal beating of Chuck O'Neil that put Ferguson in the finale.

His opponent for team Dos Santos Ramsey Nijem also comes from a wrestling back round but he used it very effectively on the show. In his fights he controls the pace by pressing his opponents against the cage and taking them down. Finishing two of his fights via rear naked choke and one of them took less then a minute. In the semi-final bout with Chris Cope he pressed Cope against the cage trying to take him down unsuccessfully but in the second round he would not need to take him down as he rocked him with a knee and finished him off with punches.

With both fighters pushing the pace this should make for a great finale. Although Ramsey is more well rounded my Prediction is Tony Ferguson will win The Ultimate Fighter 13, the UFC contract and Ramsey Nijem moves down to the Lightweight division. Yahoo Contributor Predictions Record 11-4
